In this lesson, you’ve explored a number of ways to configure how Writing Tools work on text and web views using UIKit. You’ve also seen how you can tell the tools to ignore a range of text and how you can make sure work in your app that affects text storage won’t conflict with the changes made by the tools.
Although it’s outside the scope of this module, Writing Tools will also work custom text views beyond UITextView. The basic, limited, panel experience comes for free, allowing your user to copy or share the text in the view.
