We recommend using Android Studio 4.0 or higher for this course. Additionally, use target SDK 30, and the minimal SDK can be set to 21 or 23, instead of 19, as older API versions are being slowly discontinued. Even though the version is different from what's used in the course, you shouldn't have any issues. There will be notes to guide you along the way!
This course was originally created in 2019. The content and student materials were reviewed and updated in October 2020.
