Congratulations - not only have you completed your first app, but you have completed your first polished app.
Your code is nicely structured, using a data model, unit testing, and nicely separated and reusable views. And your app looks great - you’ve made it look beautiful using views and view modifiers.
It’s amazing to think that just a few episodes ago, we started with the app at the upper left - and now, we have the nice, polished app we can see in the bottom right.
And look at our programmer to-do list: completely checked off! Ahh, now my OCD can be at ease.
You should feel proud of how much you’ve learned in this course: you’ve learned about colors, gradients, dark mode, drawing shapes, using SFSmbols, animating views, and so much more. These are all fundamental skills that you’ll be using in every you make, so this knowledge will serve you will.
So give yourself a well-deserved high-five from me. But don’t get too comfortable - the learning isn’t done yet!
The next course in our iOS and SwiftUI for Beginners learning path is Programming in Swift: Fundamentals. Here, we switch gears and take a deep dive into the Swift programming language itself.
By the time you’re done, you’ll have a firmer understanding of the syntax of Swift, and you’ll be ready to get back to making your second iOS and SwiftUI app, and beyond.
Congratulations again on completing your first polished iOS app, and we look forward to seeing you in the next course.
